Fighting fund to help prevent overdevelopment of Sarratt

Crowdfund to help support prevention of over development of Sarratt

This fighting fund is to support paid for professional expert and legal resources needed by SPC, Sarratt Residents Association and Sarratt Matter to help stop unsustainable development in Sarratt.  With over 270 new homes proposed through a number of applications, this fund will be used for the larger development applications, appeals and other processes such as the recent response to the Three Rivers Local Plan Reg 19 stage, where a planning consultant produced our response.  These activities are not cheap, for example the Reg 19 response cost £5000.  At the recent public meeting the speaker from a recent appeal against a large development in Carpenders Park they spent about £30,000 for each expert or barrister they used.

So this is why we need to build an additional fighting fund with the support of our residents. So far over £12,000 has been donated, which will be matched by SPC (up to maximum £25,000).  Thank you for those who have supported so far.
